During my parents burial, just before they put the coffin inside the grave, I noticed this strange girl, with I long hair partly covering her face, staring at me. I became gripped with fear and changed location but she appeared at every point I went. It was as if she knew where I was going to even b4 I got there. The next day my uncle, Ben, came to the house to pick me, since I had no other relatives to stay with. I felt happy because I knew she wouldn't be following me to the city. When we arrived at uncle Ben's house I was shown my room but as soon as I shot the door closed and turned to face my room, I saw her siting by my bed. "Who are you?" I said playing to be bold. "Your scared!" She replied coldly. "I'm not scared, who are you!" I asked again whilst trying to be bold. "Am you!" She said and stood up from the bed. I immediately rushed to a corner where I found a bat but on turning to stone her the bat she was no where to be found. I silently unpacked my bag and went downstairs to eat. Then coming back, I saw her eating the same food and with the exact plate and spoon I used. I tried to hit her but again she disappeared. The next day I was taking to one of the biggest private schools to register. There I met this same girl in my school but she wasn't looking strange like she was when she appeared in my room and in my parents burial. she looked As soon as she saw me she ran towards me and hugged me. I was confused who she was and she identified herself as my best friend from the village. I doubted if I've ever known her. I got freaked when the one that appears in my room showed up. As I stared towards her direction she smiled and on the other hand the other of her dragged me to my class. Through out the whole day, I was been accompanied by two exact same person. One looked like a zombie while the other was a beautiful damsel. So many times I asked her if she had a twin but she kept replying "no" and 'why was I asking, I will end up dumbfounded because the other one of her whom appeared to be visible to only me will stop smiling and furiously stair at me . When we got home and to our room. Yes she follows me everywhere I go including in the class. I started bombarding her with a lot of questions like, who are you? Why aren't you seen by other people?why are you two?. And why me? Why are you here?. She kept quiet for a while, staring at the door before saying. "Too many questions but I'll answer each as time goes on. First you most secretly follow me to Ur uncles room tomorrow afternoon." She finally answered coldly and returned to her favourite sit. I searched for her in all rooms and corners but yet couldn't see her so I quit thinking she was gone. During breakfast with the family, she suddenly appeared behind my uncle. Immediately I saw her she began making some funny gestures. This attracted my attention and I too began responding with same gestures, forgetting that I was even in the dinning with other people. "Richard! Why are you staring over my shoulders making gestures at no one in particular?"my uncle asked,whilst looking over his shoulders in confusion of who I was gesturing for. I got back to my senses and kindly apologized and took an excuse. Immediately, I stood up and followed her to my uncle's room. On getting to the room, she walked straight to one weird looking picture and invited me to come view. when I got close to the picture I felt this sharp pain in my head. Some painful memories began displaying in my head.....I couldn't fully capture the memories. The only thing I could clearly see was me in a car with my parents. The more I tried to understand what I was seeing the more the pain increased. , And at that point the face of the girl began to change to mine. I could no longer hold the pain anymore so I made a step to go out of the room but suddenly I blacked out. The next thing, I saw myself in the hospital accompanied by the girl. Who happened to be standing by my bed and stalking her eyes on mine directly. "What happened, what did you do to me?" I asked but she didn't say a word. "Am talking to you, what did you do to me?"a asked again with my voice a bit louder. She still didn't reply. "Who are you? and please leave me alone" I cried out loud. My voice attracted my uncle and his wife who was sitting by the corridor. Immediately the door sprang opened she disappeared. "What is it Richard?." My uncle asked, crossing his hands over me... while bending with one knee on the ground. "Doctor, doctor " my aunt called out as she runs back to the corridor to get more hands. Two days later I was discharged. I stole this story from missing pen, And as usual I met her on her favourite sit staring towards the roof without turning her eyes or making any sense of a living being. I quietly left her and we kept malice through out the evening until I was about sleeping. "We must go pay that room a visit again" she said and suddenly disappeared. The next day at school during break. I was with the real girl in her human nature while her twin ghost was standing erect like a military man, right before us. "Richard do you know what happened to your parents before they passed away?" The real girl asked. Before I could answer I noticed her twin ghost was shading tears. "Who are you talking to?"the real girl asked, confusedly. "Girl leave me alone "I warned and stood up to take a leave. "Am 'Sonia' by name and not 'girl' " the real girl said and walked out angrily. ( NOTE: From now on the real girl and her invincible twin will be addressed by the name Sonia) I too seeing that I was alone with invincible Sonia I left the scene but invincible Sonia kept following me. "Leave me she is your sister something, go with her " I screamed to her and she disappeared. When I got home that day and was in my room, although invincible Sonia wasn't there. My uncle knocked my door and on opening it; he gave me an envelope, asking me to go through them that they were all my test results from the hospital. As soon as he left, I opened the envelope, but before I could see the content inside, Sonia appeared from no where. "Don't open that" she warned furiously. "Jesus" I screamed and fell on my bed in fear " you scared me, I know you're invincible but try dey knock. By the way this is......." "Just a hospital test results, I know. Seeing that results will make you hate me it's not yet time." She cuts in. In the night while I was sleeping, I heard a sound of a broken bottle, which woke me up. It turned out that it was my favourite glass that she broke. "Let's go" she said while facing the door, waiting for me to prepare. "Where are we going to by this time of the night " I asked with a half closed and sleepy eye. "To the basement and be quick, we don't have much time left " she spoke coldly, amidst tears. I quickly got up and followed her gradually as I tiptoed down to the basement. On opening the basement door, I noticed chains with handcuffs on the ground. I freaked out because it looked like one of those cages, the colonial masters used in imprisoning their slaves. "scrape " she spoke, pointing towards one table by the corner. I walked to the table and discovered they were dry bl00d on the table. I quickly scraped it into a small container as she instructed and together we left the basement. "Take the blood samples to a clinic and run gene test with your blood " invincible Sonia instructed. "Where am I gonna get the money "I asked. Ask your school girlfriend, she always assisted you with funds."she concluded with a smile on her face for the first time and disappeared. "She is your visible twin...why don't you do the asking" I yelled to no one in particular.
